What We Do
Anchored Youth exists to walk alongside 6th-12th grade students to be equipped as disciples of Jesus. Jesus commanded his church to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:18-20). This command is not limited to adults/parents but all who call themselves followers of Jesus, so we welcome teenagers to get on the field and be potent players on the team in the Kingdom of God.
How We Do It
We focus on growing in relationship with Christ and fellow disciples, learning from Jesus’ own example of working with others rather than alone. Every teen is invited to take hold of his or her part in the Kingdom, accepting the call to be and make disciples of Jesus who make disciple makers, reaching our world for his Kingdom one person at a time.
When We Meet
Anchored Youth meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:00pm following Family Night dinner beginning at 5:30pm.
